The little things matter

We spend a lot of time discussing big ideas.
The next big thing. The problem that will disrupt an industry. The product that will change the world.

And sure, those things are important.
But sometimes it’s the little things that stay with us.

The things you rarely see

Imagine copying something on your phone and pasting it directly onto your Mac.
Or getting a one-time password and it pops right up where you need it, ready to go.

Neither sounds all that exciting.
But you can tell the first time you use it. After a while, you do not notice it anymore. It just works.

That's what we love about great products.

Sometimes the best ideas aren’t solving problems we think about every day. They're removing little bits of friction we've just gotten used to.
Saved a few seconds. One less thing to remember. One less annoying step.
The magic is to make things look obvious afterward.

That's the tricky part

These problems may seem simple on the surface.

It’s easy to see the frustrating part. Figuring out how to make it disappear isn't so easy.
That's where the interesting work starts.

Because when somebody gets it right, you don’t necessarily think about the technology behind it. You just think,

"Oh. That's nice."

And that's a pretty good feeling to create.

We are not trying to change the world with everything we build. If we happen to along the way, great.

Can we make your day a little easier? Can we save you some time?
Can we make you smile?

Maybe it is you. It can be your mum, a friend, or a neighbour.

It doesn't have to be a million people. If we can build something that makes one person’s day a little bit better, that’s a pretty good reason to build it.

And that's a win for us.
